Small, relaxed, and usually a lot of fun. We’ve been very fortunate over the years—Right Path seems to attract genuinely nice, interesting people who enjoy sharing a good day in the mountains with others.

Our groups typically average around 6–8 guests, sometimes larger with a maximum of 12, and sometimes even smaller. We have plenty of solo travelers, as well as couples and friends.

Solo guests sometimes ask us beforehand whether they’ll feel like the odd one out or a “third wheel” among couples.

What they tell us afterward is quite the opposite—they felt completely welcomed by the group, quickly became part of it, and often went home with wonderful new friends.

And remember: you can be as groupy or as ungroupy as you want. Walk at your own pace, eat with the group, or have meals on your own, with friends or family.

There’s no pressure to do everything together.

Many guests who first met on one of our trips have remained friends long afterward—and many choose to travel with us again and again.
