We have a planned itinerary, but Tenerife gives us an incredible variety of places to explore.
Our plans include walking in Anaga Rural Park, exploring the volcanic landscapes of Teide National Park, walking around Roque del Conde and Roque Imoque, and visiting El Bujero—the “Eye of God” lookout.
We’ll also visit the Mount Teide area, home to Spain’s highest mountain.
The exact walks may change depending on the weather, trail conditions, access restrictions, and crowd levels.
That doesn’t mean we’re making the trip up as we go along.
It means we have enough experience and enough good walks and things to do and see to choose from that we don’t need to follow a plan unthinkingly when another option would give the group a better day.
