Come hungry. Food and wine are an important part of the Croatia and Slovenia experience.

You’ll have opportunities to enjoy traditional dishes, fresh seafood, local wines and Slovenian beer—or pivo, as they say.

We may have lunch at a mountain hut, eat at unique local restaurants, and finish our adventure with dinner and wine tasting at a seventh-generation biodynamic winery in Šmartno.

Breakfast is included every morning, as is our final dinner at the winery. Lunches, most dinners, coffee stops, and drinks are on your own unless stated otherwise for your particular departure.

This gives you more freedom to choose what, where, and how much you want to eat and drink.

And if lunch happens to be at a European gas station one day while we are headed to our next destination – don’t panic – European gas stations can have surprisingly awesome food.
