Small, relaxed, and usually a lot of fun.
We have plenty of solo travelers, as well as couples and friends. Solo guests sometimes ask us beforehand whether they’ll feel like the odd one out or a “third wheel” among couples.
What they tell us afterward is quite the opposite — they felt completely welcomed by the group, quickly became part of it, and often went home with wonderful new friends.
And something about walking together in the Himalaya seems to speed up the process.
Nepal is more of a shared journey than some of our other trips. We walk together, eat our meals together, travel together, and experience a lot together. But that doesn’t mean everyone has to walk at the same pace or spend every waking moment together. There’s always time and space to do your own thing.
After a few days of walking, eating, traveling, and laughing together, groups often become friends.
