Quite a lot. That’s what makes this adventure different.
We’ll explore the old town of bohemian Rovinj, visit the Roman Arena in Pula, walk along the Adriatic coast, explore the 3,000-year-old town of Motovun, visit Plitvice National Park, discover Ljubljana, walk through Vintgar Gorge, spend time around Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj, venture into the Julian Alps, visit Tolmin Gorge and explore a First World War battle site and museum.
And that’s just the beginning.
Depending on conditions, availability, and the particular trip, there may also be opportunities to swim in the Adriatic, take a sunset dolphin cruise, ride mountain bikes, paddle a canoe or kayak, try stand-up paddleboarding, take a boat ride, explore a castle, or simply find a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the view.
Not every optional activity will be available on every departure, and all are optional.
Some afternoons are deliberately left open for you to do whatever you want…
You don’t always need another activity. Sometimes a swim, a glass of wine, and a beautiful view are exactly the right plan. The places you will stay beg you to stop and just enjoy them.
