Croatia and Slovenia are two of the most fascinating, beautiful —and still relatively undiscovered—countries in Europe.
We’ve spent many years exploring both countries, and we’ve come to love this part of Europe. Beautiful mountains, lakes, a UNESCO cave, an incredible coastline, fascinating old towns, castles, wonderful food and wine, and plenty of places most visitors never discover.
That’s really why we created this trip. And our guests have LOVED it!
We don’t want to take you from one famous attraction to another, tell you to take a photograph, and then put you back in the van. We want to show you the walks, villages, viewpoints, restaurants, mountains, lakes, and little corners we’ve found over the years—the places that make Croatia and Slovenia so special – but few people see.
You’ll see and experience a lot. We’ll walk along the Adriatic, explore historic towns, visit caves and waterfalls, walk in the Julian Alps and lunch at a mountain hut, visit national parks, wander through gorges, visit a World War 1 site and museum, and finish at a seventh-generation winery.
And we’ll eat some pretty darn good food along the way.
More importantly, you won’t follow a rigid itinerary led by someone who’s simply been handed a clipboard. We’ll be there with you, using our experience and local knowledge to make adjustments as we go.
This trip is for people who want to experience Croatia and Slovenia, not just visit them.
