Katarina and I spent months exploring the Algarve and southern Portugal before we decided to offer a trip here. We walked countless trails, explored villages, stayed in different places, ate in lots of restaurants — a particularly important part of the research — and gradually figured out what we loved and, just as importantly, what we didn’t.
We don’t choose a destination simply because we could run a trip there. We have to love it ourselves first.
Our Algarve trip is built around the sections of coastline and trails we most want to share with you. We keep our groups small, personally lead the trip, stay in places we’ve carefully chosen, keep driving to a minimum, and spend as much of each day as possible doing what we came here to do.
Walking.
We don’t try to show you everything Portugal has to offer. We concentrate on one very special part of it — the Algarve — and try to give you a wonderful day, every day.
If it doesn’t feel right to us, it doesn’t become a Right Path trip.
