The timing of each journey is just as important to us as the destination itself. We deliberately go in late October and November, after the summer monsoon, when the trails are generally drier, temperatures are comfortable for trekking, and the Himalaya usually has the wonderfully clear skies and mountain views Nepal is famous for.

Mornings and evenings can be cool, while the days are often warm and sunny. Chitwan, at much lower elevation, will be considerably warmer. Of course, this is the Himalaya and weather is never completely predictable, so we’ll send you a packing list to prepare for everything from warm sunshine to cool mountain mornings and the occasional shower.
