Because it isn’t a traditional Right Path walking/hiking tour. It’s more of an active adventure tour.
On our Dolomites and Portugal tours, walking is the primary focus. We spend most of the day on the trails, with relatively little driving between destinations.
Croatia and Slovenia are different.
We’re covering two countries and several distinct regions because there are simply too many wonderful places we want to show you. We’ll average around four hours of walking on most days, but we’ll also spend some time in the van moving between destinations.
Some of those drives are part of the adventure. We’ll take spectacular coastal and mountain roads, and we’ll break up longer journeys whenever we can.
Depending on the location, weather, and availability, you may also have opportunities to swim, cycle, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, or take a boat ride. We’ll make time for photographs, coffee, lunch, exploring, and simply enjoying where we are.
The walking is important. Enjoying the day is more important.
You’ll walk, explore, eat, drink, learn, laugh and occasionally sit still and take in the view.
We think that’s a pretty good combination.
